I believe SERPENT America should have LE kits around 3rd week of Dec and here at down under it should be around 2nd week of Dec (assume no delay from factory). Most likely kits will be direct sell from distributor.

Have Serpent change the chassis slightly ? my lhs had some chassis and kits in today and they don't have the lipo bulge cut outs down the side anymore and it was slightly narrower ?

The new chassis's haven't the lipo cut outs and they're a bit narrower, too - can confirm that!
The carbon isn't the same, too - the new carbon is more smooth if you feel over the carbon with your fingers!

S411 LE THE ORANGE CAR !
Stocks are arriving and orders now being taken although stocks are very limited from what we know.
Will be a good collectors model for someones chassis collection.
Cheers

Is it me or is 300 LE cars worldwide a small number? You would think it would be tougher to get one in your hands, no? For retailers I guess it's possible to get more pre-order confirmations than actual stock. I just pre-ordered one so we'll see. A 411-LE would sure look sweet beside my 733
As for the rear shock caps and spring adjusters....I did contact Serpent and they said it will be anodized as well. Also all 300 will be engraved but not shown in the pics.

i just got mine, and im a bit dissapointed in the design. i read that Marc Fischer lost a pin lately, and can see why. was really hoping the pins are held wiht a set screw, but no screw just heatshrink on the outside. any one tested these for Mod ? 3.5T ? i have a funny feeling they will loose the pins pretty quickly . looks like ill leave my std shafts in for Nationals this weekend.

i have just taken one apart cause it didnt feel smooth, then when i re shrinked it, i double shrinked wiht some super glue between the first and second layer where the pins are. so will see how they hold up. the insert for the shaft where the pin goes through, is solid, only hole is for the pin. so not even a chance to put a grub screw in.

heat shrink only Matt. maybe ok for Stock. i have Major doubts for my 3.5T

I used double joint cvd and no matters with them. I know you're disappointed about that problem, but take a look at other brand DJCVD and can see that a lot of them use heat shrink only. I don't think it is a mistake build them like that, there are some advantages reagarding their moovement and vibrations, maybe yours had a bad heat shrink.
Try to replace it and reuse like that.
