Also throw away bearings that come with kit. Only good for a while. Look under xray at T3 section on EBAY and scroll down. They sell a set for $5.00 to 12.00 a set and there black. They are a hundred times better and dont get dirty as fast.

We have a few other guys running VM2's also. From what I've seen, in addition they have also broken front arms, spool cups, a universal, and not sure what else. Maybe some more people can chime in on what they broke.
Thanks man,

yeah to our fellow VM2 owners.... if you guys could give me some history.... so i can stock some spares.

No, stock spur is 100T. I'm running a Kimbrough 76T spur, but find the smallest spur you can put on it. I think they made 64 pitch spurs down to 72T if I'm not mistaken. Pinion, using 55mm diameter tires, try 45-50T depending on size of your track. We race 21.5's blinky here at our track. Plenty fast for the size of these cars.

As for the TRF417 spool, I'm not sure if it fits. You'll need the equivalent Xray T2 compatible unit... but you should see if EGR Mart will ship the Atomic one to your country. Its really inexpensive.
Thank you for the reply!!^^
my English is not good...
so that I can use SPEC-R DIFF FOR the XRAY T2 on my VM-II???
by the way..
I still have some question...the ATOMIC parts FRONT SPOOL is plastic...

it's very easy to broke...because I am using SPEED PASSION 5.5R with Turbo~

I saw the parts on ATOMIC RC's website~there's no aluminum front spool...

is there any optional parts that made with METAL or Aluminum???

did any SPEC-R or XRAY metal/aluminum front spool fits VM-II

Thanks!!!

Keep in mind that the Xray T2 -006/007 & the T2 008/009 diffs are not the same. Im not sure which one will fit ,well they both will "fit" in the car but the pulley will be offset with the wrong one (so belt would be at an angle.

Yeah, I think it was 34T versus 38T for the later ones. 34T is the one you want for VM2.

Spec R diff for T2 is same part number as the one for VM2. Not sure who makes a metal T2 spool.

5.5T in a mini? You are insane!
