Just received my D06 Dynamics kit today, and am just getting started on assembling it. What a beautifully machined car. Wow.

My dynamics kit should be here any day now. Hope I chose a good car to get back into racing with, after over 20 years.

Just finished my build today, really good quality kit. Its a piece of art!
But I have no idea roughly what size pinion to put on with my 5 turn motor, I have never used used 64 pitch before and my track is a medium sized flowing outdoor track with about a 30 metre (100 ft) straight.
Anyone have ideas?

Drove the car for the first time today. I ran the same amount of laps and similar lap times to my Spec-R R1 Pro Spec. The car was loose/over-rotated mid corner, so I couldn't drive with confidence/drive aggressively. What I did notice ahout the car is that it turns in very well, and is very consistent.
I'll play with droop and shock mount locations on Wednesday practice to see if I can solve the over-rotation in the middle of the corner. After the mains, I found that I had 0.5mm too much rear droop.
I also found that there is a lot of play in the rack due to slop in the 3mm rack bearings. Does anyone have a solution to remedy this problem?
Edit:
As others have noted, I have a bit more rear toe on the RR compared to the LR. Is this indeed a hub/upright problem that can be resolved with aluminum EMR hubs?

Korey Harbke has a great carpet starting setup for harder spec tires like the Sweep QTS32. I used it with a 17.5 and it wasn't bad. I made the mistake of leaving the Aliuminum chassis on my car with the Sweeps. At our track the sweeps don't have the traction to require the Aluminum Chassis it made the car twitchy and unpredictible. I ran this setup last Friday night with the Graphite Chassis and it worked very well, way better then the driver.

I suppose I can swap my rear hubs with eachother and see if the side with 3.5 degrees of toe follows the hub. Then I'll know if it is the hub or not.

I've got some ARC R10 swaybar connector parts, but haven't installed them as the sway bars need shortening.
I'd recommend to wait for the D07 bits.

Ive also done mod with ARC parts. Cut the sway bars back 10mm front and rear. Used long ARC ball stud in the front and short in the rear. Used a VBC ball cup in rear. I am wondering if the 07 will have different swaybars? Unless the made the lower bulkheads different with mounting positiond further out, they will have to be.
