Looks fantastic romuald31! Weve got a couple of sweet Porsches between us! Where did you order that body? Post an image when you get it trimmed and fitted!

You can get the Porsche body I posted on the previous page from www.Deltaplastik.it. They also have a variety of other unique bodies that should fit the GTP2e, they are a bit expensive but I can tell you they ship pretty quick for being in Italy.

http://www.deltaplastik.it/index.php...at2=11&cat3=15

I really dig the porsche, subaru, and lancia bodies they make. The BMW M3 and Audio Quattro bodies look pretty boss as well.

The above porsche romuald31 posted may be hard to find, i think its discontinued.

Hello from France,

Steve, it's quite strange you ask that because the Porsche body is the same as the Ofna Body!!

In France, the brand IModel import this clear body with decals.

You can see the original Ofna decals on the picture!!

Au revoir.

Ofna don't sell it anymore because of Porsche copy right issue.

Hello from France,

here's my car in the morning, ready to race.

In fact, I switch to a new chassis.
I'm not running the GTP2e anymore.

I drive the HobbyTech STR8 Ep GT.
It's GT chassis that comes directly with the flat chassis, short dampers....

I build my new car the day before the race and, I made my first run in the morning!!!

We were 19 BL runners and, I set the second time in qualifying. 4 qual, 7mn each.

During the midpause, I continued driving and setting the car.

And finally, I won 3 from 4 A-Final (8mn) and set the fastest lap of the day, 4/10s faster than the second and, 5/10s faster than my Full SNR GTP2e!!!!

Au revoir.

Where I live we are soon to begin racing on this indoor concrete go kart track! I plan on getting either the Ultra GTPE or the dirt oval version. Which one should I choose? I like the fact that the dirt oval car comes with the rear pivot ball suspension and the shorter rear shocks; however on the website it says that the chassis is offset, which I don't like for roadcourse. However, in the pics it doesn't look offset?!! Strange! Any suggestions?

Also, I'm thinking of getting the Hobby King 120A sensored/sensorless brushless esc and pairing it with the Turnigy TracKStar 1/8 sensored 2350KV motor. Hobby King seems to recommend a 3S lipo as opposed to a 4S, as they say the 4S has a tendency to make the esc run hot. Again, any suggestions?
One other thing; I see that the dirt oval version comes with a solid center spool. Is that good or bad for the track that go kart track in the pictures?

the offset is in the wheel adapters on the right hand side all you need is 2 hex adapter to remove the offset

The fact they are sensored makes it lack a little top end but that can be compensated, just use a little higher Kv or larger pinion. The Tekin series has a lot of Delta wound that are generally slightly more inefficient then Wye wounds. However the Castle cans run hotter then they should for a Wye, they are still less efficient. The Mambas are all Wye wounds. If you want best of both worlds take a Tekin RX8 with Steve Neu motor (the black cans) The are as smooth as a sensored Tekin buth unsensored so they have a higher top end.
Oh, and this is based on 1 on 1 tests I did.
All Tekins RX8 ESCs run in dual mode. They are suppose to be the best of both worlds. They start out in sensored mode and switch to nonsensored at higher rpms.
