Default BALLRACE IN STOCK

EA or any body with good tuning abilitys

Q)What advantages would be gained by running bearings instead of bushings

This info for the uk as the TORC series & now the STCC series are allowing bearings in the 27t stock

The motors would not really be any faster overall....however, they would be easier to setup (no more breaking in or polishing bushings), they would run cooler and more efficient, so there would be less chance of fade during the end of the run, and they would be much easier to maintain....

And pretty much now, all stocks could be upgraded to bearings cheap since bearings are so cheap now, but ROAR still won't allow it.....though I intend to bring it up at the next rules meeting I have been invited to...

Thank you michael

Colin, is this the shipment you said would be with you at 'the end of the week' containing the C2's?

If so, end of week is a no-no

Remember I was having problems getting F lines to work
Well, had a dyno session at a m8's house last night and definitely the F lines worked. Found that with purple springs we got better results than with the red/green combo. Just wondering why the red/green combo is favoured over the purples?

Would we be right in thinking that the purple springs would over work the brushes over 5 mins and result in a drop off in power?

Also running the brushes standard seemed to badly arch the comm after one dyno run, would filing the leading edges help or would this ruin performance?

How do you alter the timing by filing the edges down??

Also a one of the other guys who uses another Uk motor tuners stock motors had a roar motor sh*t itself on its first run and the armature broke lol. And his replacement roar with same spring/brush combo as mine couldnt keep up.
