i need a new steering servo for my JAMMIN CRT!! do you guys think that a jr Z650m has enough torque. i need it for offroad clay track racing. it has a 142oz of torque @ .17. what do you guys think. i have these in my buggy and work well but wasn't sure if it would be enough for truggy. thanks guys for input

Can someone post a pic or explain to me how the brakes are set-up on the FTE buggies? The discs and pads dont seem like they should just be floating with nothing else but a screw to hold them in? Thanks.

The discs go on the outdrive of the center diff. The pads are held into the center diff mount by two screws.

My came with the two glass disc brakes which are thicker than the metal discs brakes and they didn't fit into the brake disc hold right so I had to slightly dremel the holder so it fit.

I didn't use the disk holder with the FTE brakes.Just the 2 srews,the pads and the disks them selves.

that hitec steering servo looks awesome, are there any other servos that may be cheaper that rotate 180 degrees? i think most of the others only rotate 120 degrees. let me know if you guys know of any. thanks

I still used it but I didn't know how it would work without it. I think they are still hitting and causing some drag brake. But since Jammin"145 said he didnt use them I might just take them out

i've never used the brake holders, they just add weight and the calipers keep the disks in line anyways.

go to this website and click on the instruction manuals. you can find a picture of how the pads are supposed to go on outdrives. picture depicts it well. hope this helps

Cody, a lot of racers use the JP-3 @ The Pit. Did Ross or Jay recomend the JP-2 for that Jammin' motor?
