The truck I made before the T5M was actually released is 1905 grams complete with square battery.

It is basically a B5M kit with the following T4parts: front and rear arms with hubs, front shock tower, and front shocks.

It has 3 gear tranny with aluminum top shaft and pucks.

Why wouldn't you use the t5m parts?

Because I made the truck in November, before any of that stuff was announced or released...

It runs great and feels great other than its a heavy pig compared to the other trucks I race in stock.
Has won the Jconcepts indoor nationals finals in December 2014 and the Jconcepts indoor winter nationals last weekend.

Makes sense!

I haven't worried about weight, I keep my 17.5 racing to my B5M.

For truck, I have been focused on modified, and even then, I'm not too happy with my 7.5 power. Going to do some more testing with the truck, and going to bump timing up.

Did a little test fitting of parts and for those of you that get this kit and want some what of a light weight drive shaft the Losi 22T alloy ones fit perfect in the outdrive size matches up perfect with the B5/B5m/T5m axle so that should hold most of you over until MIP makes a set of PUCKS for the T5M.. should have pic's up by tomorrow sometime

Maybe I missed it but am I the only one that's really happy to see the front arms fit either side?

Yeah, it's a huge plus! However, the new 5 platform has been ridiculous tough. I imagine I'll wear out arms well before I ever break one.

Is this truck just hands down better than the centro T4.2?
