Durango DEX210 Thread

Why do you need the rear weight? More grip? Adding weight in the back will make the rear swing more. Are you running RM or MM. If RM,, try RM4. if MM4, then I suggest you add 7g lead weight to each rear hub. Its way better to get grip from there than from the back. Just attach it with a double sided sticky
As Dino D said….Chances are you will have much greater success by working on your setup to improve your rear traction. Have you read through the Fred Swain tune with Camber links thread yet? It's probably one of the best tuning methods I've seen to date and Fred is there still answering questions after 3 years. Having a balanced car with the right tires makes all the difference in the world.
Let us know what your setup is like and we'll try to help!

On a different topic, has anyone tried the b4 a-arms on the dex210? I have heard of people running the durango ones on the b4/ b4.2 and i was wondering if it would work the other way around. I wondered because the dex210 v2 has straight arms......
another thing i noticed was that the early prototype dex210's used b4 a-arms

May I ask why you want to do this? Durango will have two sets of arms for the DEX210 once the V2 arms are available…(maybe they are now). What don't you like about the stock arms?
Thanks!
Thanks!
i was wondering because AE arms are easily available. If i broke my durango ones and had no spares i could easily find a set for the b4 and my track, i would have to order ones for my durango. I might just have to buy a set of b4 arms and try it out.

maybe a local will let you borrow a set to see if they fit? Where do you race??

PS, I totally understand. Durango is NOT the most popular around california.
i race at Mikes Rc World in Washington.....160+ entries a race...i should be able to find someone with a extra set of AE arms

They are not a direct bolt on, the B4 uses smaller inner pins, so using them requires some work..
B4 arms would have to be modified to fit. The hinge pin holes would have to be enlarged a little. The Durango arm mount would have to be shaved to let the arms fit. The B4 arms are also much weaker.

This may not be useful to many but to some with gear diffs, instead of using the plastic diff gears to lighten things up, just use one less set of spider-gears and one less cross-shaft. Or of course go with a ball diff. I like my gears though :-) I saw no difference in grip with the same weight oil going to a two spider-gear setup. Maybe the diff will wear quicker? Wouldn't know from how well it drove today. Oh yes, i did, I FINALLY got it on the track. Great way to spend a Saturday when the Durango is working as it should. :-)

Who's running bladders in their durango shocks and who's not? Taking a poll here?
Please do share why if you don't mind
