i take my clutch bell off when i clean the car. and i do it when it looks like it needs done. my last pair didnt need it at all. i was surprised. i tossed them when the shoes were measured at 23.6(losi clutch), i could of used them maybe a race more but i didnt have to debur them at all.

You will see it Omar..Check em every couple of race days, and you will see the edges of the shoes have sharp edges of worn melted metal, Just hit em quick with a dremel sanding bit, and while your at it sand out the inside of your clutch bell.Dont sand the contact surface of the shoes

ok cool, didn't know about changing the springs. I don't like it when the springs start to hit the clutch bell, that really erks me.

i try to run vented cb's so it's easy for me to have a peak and see if the shoes require service i just clean up the edge's with a dremmel, scuff the inside of the cb with some sandpaper and good to go for a lil' longer
