what settings are you running on your Sphere TC with 10.5? Also, I use Orion 4800 16C pack with my Novak 13.5 motor, my car is slower than the other guys...but they are running same gaering as me but use SMC 28C and Trackpower 25C packs...I think my 16C lipos just cant keep up

Those cars wasn't cyclones they were clones with HB parts and Larry could take a Radio Shack anything and win in any race, I sure didn't see Hara win any foam race with the cyclone or tc.

I had the rdx too and that car is real nice on carpet foam but the cyclone tc is more for rubber I tried to do the foam thing with the cyclone but it can't beat the rdx even with the the bmi chassis, but on rubber carpet or ashpalt you want the cyclone, just my opinion on both cars.
thanks for your reply

You're right. No wins. It would probably help if Hara ran more than one US Foam race a year!
The Cyclone is definately more durable than the RDX Phi, but I'll second the opinion that its more suited to rubber tires on asphalt or carpet. For foam tires on carpet, the RDX Phi is top of the heap, sharing top spot with the Xray 008/009 and Losi JRXS-R. Chosing amonsts those three is a matter of personal preference, what your track/LHS carries parts for, and what help you can get from the local hotshoes.

also, noticed that the steering turnbuckle hits just a bit on the top of the purple front hinge pin holder/brace when turning it one way, but not on the other side, any suggestions as to why?

uneven droop settings... or the car is tweaked?

it's brand new, just finished building it, checked the droop setting, how do I check if it is tweaked?

place the chassis on a flat surface or set-up board. if the chassis doesn't sit flat then its tweaked. loosen the topdeck screws and retighten making sure the chassis sits flat.
also, make sure the shims under the FR suspension block are the same.

Boca makes various flavours of ceramics with different seals and tolerances (you could go all the way up to ABEC7), but they are all more expensive than the acers.
To cover the drivetrain, you'll need 8 5x10's for the hubs, 4 10x15's for the diffs, and 2 4x8's for the layshaft. I wouldn't recommend ceramics inside the diff, on the steering arm or on the belt tensioner, since the load on those bearings is fairly low.
