Its powered by a .28. The tires and wheels were really cool as they are scaled to perfection. The beadlocks really look like they are serving a purpose, even tho they dont. The tires look like some real CORR racing tires and have an aggresive tread pattern. The bodies look really cool too, scaled real well. The roll cage was made out of the same kinda plastic suspension arms are, it was around 1/4in diameter. And im not sure if i remember 100% but i think it had big bores!

I sure hope to hell it handles better than the Slayer.

I bought a Slayer in the interim as I wait for the SC8. Took the Slayer to the local 8th scale track and it was just a pain in the ARSE to get around the track.

Our local track is hardpack (claylike) with a loose layer on top. It was extremely hard to keep it moving in a straightline. it was nearly impossible to drive well.

Now, I'm no basher or noob. My RC8 just rails around this track....

I handed the controller to one of the local VERY fast guys who drove it for a few laps with almost as much trouble as I had. We both agreed the handling totally sucked.....

So, I'm hoping the SC8 will handle better.....

100% OUT OF THE PARK. This truck looks AWESOME on the track. I mean the ON-power slides through the corners is sweet, and somewhat realistic. Just like the 1:1 drivers.

I'm pleasantly surprised. I really thought it would be WAY over powered with the tires it comes with but it looks REALLY good. I hope it does well, Kyosho's IGT on road class is really cool and seems to be doing well as a spec class. This could as well.

im probably going to go at this like urc. and just build my own out of a buggy. but now that the sc8 is being released ill pick up some of there rims and use a hardcorr body or a sc8 body. but i wont be running anything stock

thinkin bout a gotech 21 5port, hitec servos. and if i get tired of "corr" racing. i can always just switch it back to buggy and be ready for a buggy class
