For those using a rear diff setup in the front, should I use rear (#53502) swing shafts - 42mm along with the front wheel axle, joint pipe etc?

Thanks!

Has anyone figured out a way to get a bit of weight out of these? 60g over at the moment.

How has everyone liked the car the last six months? Better than the car you had before? Car races well? Thanks for the feed back!

Only had mine about a month or so but loving it! Easy to drive and very rewarding when you're on it hard. Only 2 criticisms: it's a bit heavy, mine weighs in at 1440g even with lightweight electronics and the front sway bar set-up is rubbish (the sway bar end rubs on the dcj at full susp travel). I replaced this with a Serpent setup and it was fine. But overall its a great car and makes a great noise when at WOT

I want to buy the new TB EVO 6 Black.

The spool gear was always worn in ancient EVO 6. There were always porridge, after a couple of runs.

Any news about that rubbish??

None of my evo6 gears ever stripped on 17.5, not to this day and it's been through the hands of myself as a rookie and my brothers as a rookie into intermediate/sportsman. We've had the car since it came and out racing in every 2 weeks since.

Try changing to Yokomo SD gears. Those are a tough nylon, longer and finer pitch. I have managed to adapt an EVO6 gear diff to take the crown and works fine. The front should be a lot easier (but you'll have to do the rear diff as well, as the ratio is different).
