actually your a BIT wrong on the spring tension being combined with the sway bar
a SWAY BAR does NOTHING when braking in a striaght line
a sway bar is only used on configural forces (such as turning and the wieght is shifted to the outside of the car which gives body roll)
so i MIGHT agree with you about not going up another spring rate because we dont know how much body roll he has exactly but the sway bar is a for SURE thing to do on both front and rear
you got me there, so i was a bit off.

What size tires are you guys running on your cars? If you're running foams, they may be too tall. Even with the correct ride height you need to cut your tires down. You can't run foams out of the box with decent traction or they will traction roll. At a club race I start mine around 2.3 to 2.28". New, there is too much sidewall causing way too much side bite causing the roll. R.W.

anyone gotta nice starting setup for stock motor rubber carpet?
soft lol im starting with 50wt 50wt red/silver springs using mardave addative. the rear end is a bit tail happy on high speed corners but thats all part of the fun lol goin drifting sideways at the bottom of the straight is great I need to sort it out for next year
Rick brought up something i forgot to mention on my set up. I did have my tires cut. I dont remember what they were cut to as somebody cut them down for me already.
Also CA the sides so they wont grip but be careful not to do that too much as it can cause traction loss as i found out the hard way.
If you are runnin uncut foam tires im sure you will flip easily, especially at 5mm ride height.

are you running factory team arms (Graphite)
if you are then just change it to composite (stock arms which get through more crashes because it is less stiff)
Thanks, most of the once Iv been using have been stock.I think I have graf once to change to,hope that will work.
STOCK ONES hold up longer then the graphite ones
so maybe you are saying it wrong or you are hitting walls quite HARD
the ones that you broke are they composite (stock)
OR are they the graphite (Factory Team)

Anthony,
I took the car out to a track that's a permanent layout on the weekend for some practice. I changed the spring on the rear to the purple and I was much happier with the way the car drove. The car turned in very hard and stayed planted. I tried the sway bars on the car and I found that the car was less responsive with the sway bar and I didn't like the feel at all. I ran the car the same way for our club race and it worked well. I did have a couple of t/rolls but that was driver error being way to aggressive and jerky on the wheel. I made some driving errors in the main and ended up third in our A. I had a shot at second but tangled with a lap car. I also found out I need to turn my tires down. I've been running them as they came out of the package... We'll try that as well for this weekend!
I really appreciate all the help, thanks to your input, I look good

how would that fit mehh i dont think it would be any good for track racing from what ive read about them but i wonder how it would work for drifting? But at that price its a bit much for me
is the the thread of screws of the TEAM LOSI XXX-S the same as the tc3?
The warning says reverse will be disabled when you use that. If I am thinking correctly, it means you will also have no brake or drag braking (when the motor stops spinning, the pinion will just keep spinning).
