what motor you running to need that?

i am running a non timed 21.5 spec and use a 62/39 to get those numbers

i only have a WE so you are restricted with the pinion because of the pinion hitting the top deck, i think the X top deck allows a bigger pinion thou

but just grab yourself a smaller spur like the 62 and then you can play in the 30's with pinion to get your desired ratio

78/46 for me, 17.5 Ballistic, World Edition.

Not much room for a smaller pinion or spur, motor is pretty much all the way forward in the slots.

I run the 416X with a 105/43 ratio. I can run a taller pinion, but I don't have any reason to.

Quick question. Does the 416 steering arm fit in an old 415 style C-Hub by using the old screws and kingpin system?

Both 82/48 and 86/50 where out of stock at my LHS, so I went with your 78/46. There is a bit more slack between the gears than I am used to. Has this posed a problem for you?

I would think the purpose is to extend the shock at ride height, causing more shock oil to be on top of the piston providing more shock pack.

im racing the old 416 and cant get it to dive into the corners.
it "push on power".
if i approach the corner quite slow is ok but when i increase speed the car push making the turn quite wide.
steering is at 100%
i include my setup in hope u can give some suggestions

Hi Guys,
Looking to replace the smokem chassis on my old 416WE. Has anyone used the new Exotek 416XL chassis? It looks like they dropped the goofy looking servo ear and it comes with carbon battery holders... nice.

The thickness is now 2.3mm that is OK,
but they did not flip the belt ,
so the servo position is more to the left outside.
I think the Smokem is the better option.

Thinner oil in the diff,
less droop in front.
I would start with the droop settings,
is easier and worked for us.

0.5 deg more camber ( 2,0 F. and 2,5 R. deg ) works well on carpet.

Darn.. that servo ear does look like it sticks out further. Guess I'll wait till Smokem gets theirs back in stock. I just wish they would include some sort of battery holders.

If you are running on a tight indoor track you might want to lower your front inner camber links also.
