From my experiece, I would'nt spend to much money on spares parts, this buggy just does not break!..... I would look more into parts that wear like shock shafts, o-=rings, cvd shafts ect....

Thats good to know Scuba Steve.

I never really broke anything on my Mugen but its good to have some extra parts hanging around. Maybe more of a peace of mind. The front end parts I ordered are all pretty cheap. I did order the front and Rear Al. braces, more so for the "BLING". From what I read about they don't really stiffen the chassic, which is good to have flex in chassis.

Hello,

I am new to the forum and new to rc racing. I have a losi8 rtr. So far I am on my 3 throtle servo.

When i broke the car in I did it on the street with street tires mounted. I put about a half a gallon through the car with no problems. I get to the track and loose 2 in one night.

I have trimmed the spring on the throtle linkage and raised the servo by installing rubber spacers under the servo, so far no problem but I have not run it at the track. I also adjusted my epa but I am not sure if I did this correctly.

Is this the fix you guys are talking about? Is there any thing else I should do?

I want to buy a kit and keep this rtr as a backup but i first want to get this thing running perfect.

I did the same, with the addition of some thick double stick tape on the side facing the motor, for insulation. So far, it's survived 4-5 racedays, and several practice sesions, along with a couple bashings...and it's a cheap Z590...

Well, I'm VERY happy to announce that I will be running for Team Losi this upcoming season as Adam Drake and Todd Hodge have offered me a spot on the Team. I have 4 hours of track time on my new car and to say the least, its amazing!! Here are some pics of my car. This is the first body Chrome Pickle painted for me and it turned out very well. My second body is on its way with quite a few "revisions" to the paint scheme and looks quite a bit better.

Here is the "spring thing" I installed. Run these on all my cars after the CRT pulled my 1005 pipe apart

Here is my throttle/brake linkage setup on my car.

Congrats, don't take this the wrong way but, I'm not sure if announcing it on here is a good idea...... now alot of people may think they are trying to build up the team and that'll start a nice flow of e-mailed resumes and phone calls ect.....

Again, congrats and make sure you keep the customers happy like losi always does!!

Congrats Infanti!!

Hey do you recomend using springs on the brake linkages? My RTR came with fuel hose instead. Should I change it over?

you don't have to, I find it makes the brakes a little more "linear"....
