TQ Racing SX8

That is great news that you are giving the SX8 A try I am sure you will like it I would say the normal parts that you carry for any kit is a good starting point.
Shock shafts
plastic parts
diff gears
spur gear
I can tell you if the car is well taken care of it is very durable,All cars break but that should cover most parts.
The Truggy will be out after the new year but all is complete with the kit,we are just finishing the packaging. As far as the gears we have found that if you follow the Manuel recommend spacing you will be fine.
It is going to be a great year for TQ

I have had zero problems with the stock gears. I have many galons through my buggy now and still running strong. I am just now putting new plastic on the car and keeping the old for spares.

Ya Greg I wondered the same thing. Hes into indoor electric for the winter months.
Have you guys noticed that the sx8 seems to have no issues compared to many other cars out there? The only real issue I know of was the bumper and that was on the original version nanda, a year ago.

I have had better luck with the SX 8 than I have the Mugen MBX 6.
Some thoughtless designs have made me question Mugen this time around.

Hey guys whats shakin
usually in the winter here nitro is done like Luthers steak at the worlds! But as luck would have it we have a new indoor track that just opened up about an hour north of here thats pretty big. Everyone with nitro is blowing the spiders out of them, looks like we'll have a full winter season for the first time.
usually we only run electric on a small track thats been here for ages... but flashlights are boring....
one order of nitro coming up! woohoo

Tony,
Greg tested the Losi 2.0 and Frank tested the Mugen 6. Those will be in the next issue. The TQ SX8 will release in the mag during the middle of January.
So, my bad for telling you wrong.
I haven't been able to put a full season on the Mugen or the SX8 but the Mugen feels like it has a little more steering and if your not use to that, it can be a bad thing. The Mugen is a very light car and I don't know if I can account for that. I think you need so much weight but I am uncertain where that magical number is.
I was competitive with the Mugen 5 and beat some new buggies with it and it wasn't a prospec or the 5r. With all this being said, The TQ is a fast machine and I was very happy with the results it gave me.
We do have a new magazine that will be releasing called Buggy & Truggy. This will cater to all you racers !

I'm with ya on the weight thing... I had one car that was just over 7lbs and my std car.... The 7lb car was quick sure, but it was quick to get into trouble too. To be consistent I liked the heavier car.
And what about that car that won the worlds? O ya, thats one of the heaviest cars out there
Keep me posted on the new mag, sounds like it will be a good one
