Used some 2mm washers to take out the bump steer today. Was a bit faster when I stopped overdriving it. The only problem is, the threads on the steering balls don't hit the nylon in the locknut now. Anyone make a steering ball with a longer thread? I know about using loctite but if I can use the locknut like they're supposed to, that'd be better.

As for me. I had installed RC8 tierod ends and ballends. They sit taller just using them instead. No spacer needed

Never thought of flipping the nut over, might give that a go. I've got the stock steering balls and nuts and the screws get nowhere near flush.
Using the 2mm spacers made a lot of difference, the car felt a lot better as long as you didn't over drive it.

Reckward Tuning #rmvtu8706 has a set of steering balls with a long screw
going straight through the ball; Amain carries them but they are out of stock
now.
Has anybody had problems with the front or rear aluminum chassis brace
loosing up during a race? Mine seem to loosen up during every five minute
heat race. I'm thinking it's not only the screw and the locknut, but the
aluminum braces vibrating, rubbing and wearing down the aluminum chassis.
I tried to use the 5t modified plastic braces but it prevents use of the battery
box lid. I'll try putting a thin piece of plastic or paper between the brace and
the chassis to absorb some of the vibration.

Yeah, I wanted to order those, but they've been out of stock since I've been looking at them which has been about a month now.

Check out the Mugen forum here for setup help:

Scott Hughes and the Tillman's are on the forum. Try to get a setup for Silver State as it is a rough blown out track. The World's setup may not work well as that track was in Indonesia.
Best regards,

I'm looking into purchasing the 3.2 rear and 2.7 front sway bars.
I found the 2.7 front on amain but can't seem to find the 3.2mm.
Anyone knows if the sway bars from the truggy fit directly on the buggy?
