Isn't it more like 1 pound is like $2.05 as of late????

Yohan, you are right and thats a huge part of the pricing.

Mod motors were already sent by me, the "stock motors" (10,13,17's) as far as I know are only missing the end bell nomenclature and I wont have the correct ones until mid March, as soon as I have them I'm submitting them for approval.

Thanks Adam, looks like I should go ahead and get some of the speed passion stuff. I've heard a lot of food things about the esc and motors.

Talk to you soon.

Kevin, I don't think anyone has tried that. I know i certainly haven't. I have tried the flex top deck, and to be honest i didn't like it at all. I can only think that links would be similar to this but with even more flex. So i certainly don't think it is something that i would like.

Default Lipo ???

I'm looking at making the switch or at least trying lipo. What lipo have any of you found to work well in the MI3. I want to try one that is close in comparison to the new 4600's. I run stock, 13.5 and 10.5 foam and rubber.
Thanks for all the help.

A lot of us are using the Core 5000 packs, I like them

I cant really compare to 4600's cause I haven't used round cells since 3800's

Got my hands on the new SP stuff!

New 'Super Caps' protect the ESC from glitches and reduces the temp of the ESC but be warned the temperature gets taken from the ESC and into the Super cap, so make sure you stick it in really good because like my one, it melted the double sided sticky tape and dragged on the ground!

If you want to get your 2.5 working without it thermalling and the lot, put 10 guage wires to the batteries and the motor

New Motors are good although I havn't bothered getting one since the current 3.5r with the 13mm rotor in it is going so well!

alright, had bad luck so far,

-the qualifying for qualifying round I ended up 41st and my battery failed so I diddnt make the extra lap
-And the first Qualifying round I Just stood next to the wrong guy. A guy who holds his transmittor infront of your face, so i cracked it and just pulled over and took my time walking to the other end of the drivers stand. So I dropped further down to 65th

Only Schumacher in Mod, apart from Luc who's in stock and is running different tyres, so thats no help to both of us.
I am able to get low 14.1's but the fast guys like andy moore are doing 13.3's but thats only about 12 divers that can go that fast!
Jimmy told me to run his DHI setup, so must do that tommoz, I dont have much to loose because I wouldnt really say that in 40th position territory is a position of where I just stop touching the set-up of my car, If I was running in the 30's I wouldnt do a complete car set-up change,
Only thing I would hate to do is to finish 50th and go home knowing if i changed the set-up I could of been within the top 30's

I honestly have no idea why Schumacher hasn't sent there top guns like Jimmy and Chris down here because it is perfect testing enviroment for the worlds, and it also offers to get a good set-up.

I am really hating Teemu for leaving Schumacher because he is a rocket ship out there, and only if he had of stayed we might of had a chance at winning the World Championship!

Pictures of the track make it look relatively close to the Tamiya USA track the Reedy Race was held at. You might try either PW's or my setup, I dont know what laptimes PW got down to, but 12.4 was the fastest lap of the event and I hit a 12.6 with a lot of 12.7's. Couldn't hurt to try if Jimmy's setup doesnt work.
