There's so many of these threads popping up now I'm starting to wonder if its just planned marketing by the engine Modifiers.

I personally don't believe in running modified motors........they are too quiet and boring.

Now modified engines is a different story

Maybe the op meant it for the electric off road forum...

The whole engine, motor debate has fired me up for years and when I lived in Michigan, I had sum very heated debates with some, not all but some, all because Detroit is the what? Yep, motor city...

Now it's just a withering sh!t hole... sad...

I can't speak for the other people as I have never ran a modified ENGINE before (in an RC)in my life, but I have modified engines in the past (car engines not RC engines) and what I can tell you from experience is the ones that modify multiple brands are good, but those that stick with one brand are usually better because that is what they have spent all their time on. For me my specialty was destroking engines (400 chevy) and they would light a fire under you that is for sure. So................... that being said I am actually about to start running modified engines and I am going to get mine through Houston's Engine service because I have seen how good his customer support is and his specialty is Nova based engines.

Again I have never tried one and I am not saying one is better than another, simply that I will be getting one from one specific modder

Houston's can modify you a bonito, and if it were me going to get one I would get it from him, as I said above not because others don't do as good or a better job but because I have more faith in a person that does one brand
