Lol. maybe we should re name this the "cars that used to be the fgx but now don't have a single fgx part left on them" thread.

Mine still has some FGX parts left on it...not much left and less and less every day Then again the F201 was pretty much like that too and it was way more expensive.

This may not be truth if you find compromise between these two or use layout similar to Losi JRXS - It had shorter arms than other TCs so it wasn't as good as other TCs.. But for RWD short arms would be better than solid axle.

Well my new F104 front rims and HPI tires came in today Thanks to Mantis Works for letting me know the F104 front knuckles work on the FGX. The front width looks pretty much dead on with the F104 knuckles and the Ride rims for the F104. I picked a full set of medium and soft HPI tires and will be giving those a try. So far I find they are the best fitting tire on these rims...nice and tight fit. Hopefully I will get to do some testing this weekend

My F1 collection on the other other F1 thread...
Hi folks,
I posted some new pictures of my old F1 collection, including my new project F201 2012 Evolution! It's Frankenstein of a F201 car using Sakura FGX wing and body and a F104X1 front wing. I made it as close to race legal with the current car types and it's almost done
The thing that I found amazing was that I didn't have to change that many parts in order for it to work! Some additional parts are necessary but it all worked out and looks pretty spot on alongside my RB7 FGX. Please take a look and let me know what you think!

The F201 was even worse...to build that up nicely from after market parts cost over $700!

Good Going BP !! F1 Paintlab is on the move.
Hey Gadget, Just how did you spend that much on a F201 ?
Comparing apples to apples, the F201 was far more advanced than any DD car and aside from the upgrade chassis and spur adapter,
very little was actually "needed" to make the car better.
Don't get me wrong, I love the car but I think it was a mistake.
I'm pretty sure a number of people including You would love to have a 2wd version with a gear adapter, a better chassis and a slightly revised drivetrain.
