I have tried the steering plate, but didn`t like it a bit. In my point of view the car stayed in the corners on exit.... but some of the other drivers kept using it.
I think you should give it a try...

the "old" spool from the first 415 is not gonna fit the new 37 pulley`s
that`s the same problem we had with fitting...
