Default Tamiya TRF416 / TRF416WE / TRF416X

Just found this on a Japanese shop site, usually highly accurate with information and release dates:

42106 TRF416 CHASSIS KIT 74800YEN DEC

Start speculating!

If the release date is going to be as they suggest, Tamiya have kept the car well hidden from the ever spying cameras...

Imho I dont think we'll see it this year, but you never know...

Why did they will show last version TRF415 and TRF416 together?
If I am marketing specialist i will not allow that happening. My suggest will only concentrating on TRF415 line due they released already lot of new options until everything from stock is sold than release TRF416, maybe in next year.
I am convinced they will release sooner a newer version of 416 in next year, maybe call it a TRF416MRE or TRF416MS something like that.
Honestly I am unpatiently waiting for some spyshots in short moments, maybe some japanese friends read my requests than will do a little favor for us!

Going back to the lack of pictures, logically it can only have been tested at a very secret location on each of its runs. Afaik no one has caught a glimpse of one or it would have been all over the internet by now, surely as thats what usually happens with a new release.

But could you remember the japanese mags show always the spyshot of testing these kind of prototypes before of production, I wonder it if someone took some.
