The Associated one looks just like their AM radio. I like the feel of that one so it should feel fine too.

That's good to know. Right now, a friend may have a used 18R for me to use. If it works ok, I might just wait until there's a decent sale on the Detta Rally and then get it.

Regarding the Spektrum, I heard that it's not compatible with the stock RC18R ESC. I don't know about the compatibility with the Traxxas or Airtronics...

I've access to a 25x25ft carpeted room. Would a Vendetta TC be too big to race in it? Has anyone raced on tracks that small with a 1/18th car?
