it's in the instructions, one way of setting it up is to add 2 orings in behind two of the smaller gears on the cross pin.

Nothing wow but potentially a nice tuning aid/feature

Nope std rears, not heard of anyone running them or needing too, rears have been pretty good on all accounts strength wise, I run 3mm thick carbon plates though to stiffen them up more

Yes still very common in the UK, I'm old school been in RC 25+ years. I've tried wheel and can do it but I'm usually a tenth or 2 per lap slower, my son who's 10 uses wheel
