Another bigt issue here in the States is needing to go through a single distributor. Many people feel more comfortable running cars that most hobby shops sell parts for.

However, I don't see this as a problem, similar issue to running an Xray here. I have been able to get any part I've needed in a few days, and this car is pretty tough, I haven't broken anything yet.

Yep I agree no need to worry about single distribution, they need the support and it'll naturally grow, also one is better than none having to go overseas for parts 👍 the UK distributor is modletune in northern Ireland! And one England based company evolution models as resell/shop so also limited availability in that sense.

little setup from practice yesterday. Grey office carpet. Medium/high bite. Some big jumps

yellow front spring and a true 1.7x 2 rear piston might also be a little better Car was super stable and very easy to drive.

Thanks for sharing this setup.

Recently visited a high-grip, super flat, indoor astroturfed track. I think this gives some ideas on the direction for setup.

How are you liking the V4 so far?

so far I’m loving it. Very easy to drive. Little here and there and it will be even better.

Only thing I found to irritate me a little, was the plastic idler. It’s a touch loud. The aluminum idler is much quieter. Not a huge thing that affects performance in any way though. Car is pretty dang good and will only get better.

For me, the sweet spot has been 37.5wt in the front and 32.5wt in the rear.

I do want to start playing with springs though.

Little setup I played with last night. Added a front sway bar. And added some down travel in the rear. Car felt much better overall. Still some little things I’m working on (driver for one).

I'm excited to try it, same with the Slipper Eliminator kit. I'm going to be placing an order next month to upgrade a lot of parts on my V4. Its time to start pushing my car a bit, now that I'm nice and comfortable with it.

I TQ'd and won this past Tuesday night, people are taking notice of my car at the track now.

Second week in a row with TQ and the win!

I had a perfect run in the main until the very last lap! I was really hoping to see if I could get to 98-99%...but just choked at the very end, oh well, a win is a win!
