I'm looking into the smaller drive pulley but still haven't seen the issue you're having. It's very odd. If you've got noise, it's definitely still too tight. Is the belt not riding correctly?

Well, the problem is that arms are more rare these days. I an making diff housings that could attach to a plate chassis for those that like to VTA. At some point, I'll probably make gears and such.

You just need to make sure you have the right tensioner. Otherwise, as said, you can figure out a way to mod the chassis to achieve better tension. Did you buy that one from me?

That's the problem. It's near impossible to get XXX-4 belts. I've tried to get them made and it's tough... very tough. The size isn't common enough to justify the 5k in tooling so I hear.

I'm doing drifting now and EVERYONE uses a plate. Not only that, but cars are similar enough to be able to interchange parts. Needless to say, it's inspiring me.
