i originally ran it with 20 degrees timing on the can and it was fine. I then took all the timing off the can and put 30 degrees of timing in on the esc. I didnt have any practice to check temps...

dont know if im to late but i blew up a turnigy trackstar motor running a 30t pinion. i was adding in timing to keep up with the other cars and it overheated before i noticed anything was wrong

I time my first part yesterday. One of the front hingepins bent and the threads sheered off. I hit the pipe but I really didn't think it was break worthy. Otherwise the car has been very durable

I doubt their would be any performance increases but the cutout for the spur gear has always annoyed me. Ive never had a problem with it but it just bugs me.

I can't help but notice the similarity in the chassis layouts between the xb9e and xb8e. Does anyone know if I could run the the xb8e chassis on my xb9e with little to no modification?

It will not fit. If you try to run it...

It will not fit. If you try to run it horizontally it will hit the brace. if you run it paralle with the chassis it will hit the motor. The only way to do it would be to mount it on its side parallel...
