Yeah I'm not impressed with this battery strap, seems like an overly complicated solution to an overly simple problem. It's REALLY getting in the way of the bullet leads on my LiPo pack.

What would be NICE is if Associated started offering an accessory full cage for the SC10 to go with the SC8's. Then I'd just have to panel in a rollcage, I could do that in half an hour, no problem....

I did it on my Slash by bolting some plastic...

I did it on my Slash by bolting some plastic sheet stock (I think they used to be dividers from a filing cabinet) onto the sides of the chassis pan to where they'd meet the tops of the bedsides and...

Hey Rick, the SC10's wheels don't transition from 2.2" to 3" in the middle of the rim shell, do they? It's like an HPI Vintage tire, the outer sidewall is purely for show...

Well I would think that a straight 2.2" wheel setup would make for a little bit softer ride, since there's that much extra cushion between the rim shell and the ground, i.e., they might work better...

I love how everyone seems to think the SC10 will bring about the R/C Apocalypse because it looks like a much better contender than the Slash. Umm...hasn't that been the case throughout Traxxas'...
