You need smaller pinion gears than the 15/16 that comes with the kit, not spur gears. A smaller spur will gear it up, which you don't want because it will already be overgeared if you run those...

Yeah, those pinions are for 1900/2000kv motors or about there. You're going to need 12T and 13T.

Brand of the motor doesn't really matter, you don't want it getting above 180*F.

Yeah, I ran 13/46 with my 2250 T8. Crazy fast on the track, I moved to the 2000 geared 15/46.

You can try the 14T, just watch the temps!

14-16 is a bit too high if you have a 46T spur. I'd gear more like 12-13. Are you running 4S?
