Yeah, those pinions are for 1900/2000kv motors or about there. You're going to need 12T and 13T.

Brand of the motor doesn't really matter, you don't want it getting above 180*F.

look at a main they hav a 50 45 and 47 do they fit

You can use a metal one. Sometimes the slight flex in the chassis and just the sheer torque these motors put out strip spur gears. If you go with a metal spur just remember, you need to get the mesh just right or you will have heat/noise issues, and if anything were to jam the gears, goodbye ESC. However, I have been running the metal spur for a couple months now and I haven't had an issue.

If you like it stick with it. A faster motor doesn't always mean a faster truck, most likely will mean more crashes/flips. If you can run consistent laps without flipping over with your current setup, no need to change. And the castle 1500 series motors are VERY nice.

i had a rc 8 t with a 2200 kv is that 1500 series motor. it was fun
