That's very old school. Check on the back of the chassis under the transmission if you see a letter stamped.

$50 isn't too bad, the usually start at that price and go to about $110ish for a common stock rc10.

If it's all scratched up and not some rare rc10, you might want to try it out for some running....

You can replace the radio system for $20 or so. It's definitely runnable, but please don't hurt it too badly. I built one up to race, but I'm still sad to see if get beaten up.

They're great collectible cars but I wouldn't recommend using it as something to get into the hobby. If you want to bash, get something like a Traxxas Slash, if you want to race get a SC10 or XXX-SCT.
