+1. I just wouldn't even consider trusting a 6R. Your radio is the one most important pieces of kit you buy. You need to have 100% faith in it at all times.

All very sound advice. Their Air radios are just fine but I just don’t get why spektrum get their surface stuff so wrong! On the Hitec we’ve got a couple at our track and they’ve been great so far....

Out of the two then the Futaba is the only way to go. The DX6R is way too flaky and unreliable to consider as a serious contender. We had 4 DX6R's at our local but these were replaced by the racers...
