When i spoke to Surikarn last year, he recommended to bring the cells down to zero before charging. This was for both mod and stock.

But he doesnt have the average packs that we do.

I myself, always use the DeadShorting feature on the Smart Tray 1hr before charging, with GP3300.

There's no need for the tray to hold the voltage...

There's no need for the tray to hold the voltage there and let the cells regenerate at the same time. Each cell will regenerate to a certain level and stay there, regardless of how much time you give...
