I also tried the speedy "not connected to the receiver" switched it back on after calibration it will still go into the default mode.(when you check the settings using the pad -its not in factory...

I wait all week to race then it rains on race day:cry:
Matt and Bob and a few others made sure if I made a mistake I would pay in 2wd 540.

31186 is the standard TC5

The Tc5R holder is different has more settings so you can reduce the belt tension even further.

Make sure you have the cams set correctly on each side of the car...

You will notice that the 31184 has more notches almost 180 degrees the 31186 has less.

If the belt is too tight you can change the cam holder part 31186 should give you more adjust-ability.
That's one difference I found between the TC5 and the TC5R
