I have heard rummors that AE will be making a belted TC. Just wondering everyone thoughts about it. What would you like to see? For me to go back to AE they would need to redesign the diffs to be stronger, longer wearing, smoother, with exturnal diff adjustments, include carbide diff balls throughout, improve the shock design, stonger/longer wearing parts, larger wheel hub bearings, design it to be easy to work on and improve handling for more corner speed. Just my two cents, but I'm sure they won't listen.

If AE releases an all new from the ground up belt car, I'd be all over it so hard I'd break my fingers grabbing the box off the shelf.
Reasons:
#1 A domestic cars parts are always WAAAAY cheaper than a foregin cars. (ie. I almost hate my RDX because of the cost of parts alone...)
#2 AE, even though they haven't been in top form onroad is still a kick-ass company and I support them.
#3 I already have all the AE - size tools.

It might be a rebadge Yokomo BD using imperial screws

I wanna see AE have a car that works so I can see my homie Kyle Skidmore make some A-mains...He definitely has the talent! Darren Shank dropped the TC4 for an Xray FK05, went from the F main at the Novak in 19T to the B in 19T at stockton...hmmm....

they need to get off the log and build a 4WD off-road machine!
and a more durable one at that. how about pillow-ball front pieces (longer version of Ntc4 arms w/hubs) and pretty much a B4 rear-end! THE ULTIMATE ELECTRIC TO EVER LEAVE THE AE FACTORY!!

will it be called the TCB ???

It cost me $20 for a pack of RDX X-Hard arms and it costs $10 for a pair of front or rear TC4 graphite arms unless you want to go plastic (which seem to break easier despite being flexier)

I'll take it! Its a darn good car, that will make parts support even sweeter!
Seriously, the shocks need major attention, gone are the days of just having the shock bodies hold just enough oil to make it till the end of the day before theyve leaked out. We need "tamiya" style with smooth as glass finishes and easy to rebuild trackside.
Parts have to be beefed up, I gave my TC4 up due to primarliy part breakage/easily worn out running mod.

With the shocks, I like Losi's idea of having the...
piston come out with a scew. Or better yet Losi hard coated style shocks with clickers. That would be a dream.
I'm waiting for Losi to bring back a improved cf chassis XXX-S /T2 knock off.
I want to come back to AE or Losi because of part support and cheaper parts, but until they start making a durable/better quality car, I'll keep paying for Xray parts. I keep shaking my head at AE and Losi. Just my two cents.
