Hi,

I have an old SJ Swallow battery charger that charges lipos but doesnt have a balance port. I also have a Turnigy DLUX LIPO Battery Cell Display and Balancer and am wondering should/can i use this balancer while charging? Or should i only use it after charging?

I could just go and buy a Bmax for $40 from hobbyking, but the Swallow charger still works just fine.

I'm thinking there's a way to hook the balancer in line to your charger. You might need to buy another connector, but it can be done.

you can not connect the balancer to your charger..but you can use balance while charger is charging..

There is no way. There are no other connections on the unit other than what's in the photo. The unit is about 12 years old and production probably older. I don't think lipos even had balance plugs back then

You can balance the same time your charging with your equipment.. You will not hurt anything..
