Default radio runs backwards?

I have an Airtronics 3P radio that I use with my RC10GT, and recently I bought a T4 and decided to use this radio as well. I borrowed the receiver out of the GT until I can get another, and installed it in the T4. However, when I turn the car on, the motor is running about half throttle. If I push the trigger forward, the motor speeds up, and if I squeeze the trigger to wide open, the motor stops. It seems to me something is backwards. The steering works fine.

This radio worked fine on my GT. I have the batteries in the right way, and the rear tires spin the correct direction, so I don't think its a polarity problem. the truck has a Novak Dually ESC, and it doesn't seem like you can re-wire it in any way? Any ideas?

yea I held the button down until it went green. turns out the throttle was set to REV in my radio...for some reason it has to be set to REV for my GT, so I setup profile #2 with it as FWD. Now it moves forward, thanks for the suggestions

Did you try messing with the servo reversing functions?
