new driver, used merv
Hi all,
I traded some stuff I had for a used traxxas e revo vxl. It was a good deal for me, it cost me about 60 dollars of car audio stuff I had extra of.
So far I had to upgrade the front arms, upper and lowers I went with the RPM ones. ( I really didnt clip the curb going that fast, but the traxxas ones didnt survive.) I got a set of RPM knuckles for the fronts, but I have pulled the pillow balls out once, I think Im still okay.
I just got a new metal shock set, as the old ones were leaking. Then I started popping the caps, I figured this out at the Tacoma raceway track. 3 dollars and hour, and I almost made it around the track once. Spent the other 55 minutes trying to fix it, 3 times.
Its ok, I will be back soon. I am pretty sure the car will survive the track, I just need some more practice. You all make it look so easy....

I think you got a good deal. This hobby is stinkin' expencive though. The merv should be great for building driving skill. Being 1/16 it's a lot harder to keep straight than say a 1/8 truggy.
