New here
I just joined this site, I'm new here but not to RC. I used to race often when I lived in NY and since getting married and moving to NC I have been out of it for @ 10 years. A friend of mine had me watch a video of Ken Block Gymkhana 3 and it sparked the idea I could drive one of my rc cars that way. So now I'm turning one of my 3 TC3's into a drift car. My list of cars include 3 TC3's, Yokomo MR4-TC(turned into a Rally car back in 00), Yokomo 1/10 on road car(forgot model name), Tamiya TL-01(spec racer), FF front drive touring car, TA-04F, TA-04R, M04L, 2 F-1's and a Indy car, Clodbuster with ESP chassis, Associated RC-12L3, B3, T3, original RC10, DS, GT, CRC Carpet Knife, HPI NRS4 with a Pro2 front suspension.
The last major race I was in was The Trinity Sedan Challenge at American Raceway in June 2000. Race in all 3 classes Nitro finished 4th in A main, Modified 2nd C-main(was having radio problems in qualifying), Stock 2nd B main.
I also competed in Tamiya TCS series for a few years raced in Staten Island finished 1st A main in GT1 with my TA-04F, 1st in TL01. Maryland my cars were not working right and only got best in show for F1, finished 4th in F1 and 5th in GT1.
I used to race at Willis Hobbies, LI Raceway, American Raceway, South Shore Hobbies and Floyd Bennett Field, Bruckner Hobbies, Whitestone DMV parking lot,
I would like to get back into racing if I could find a track within a reasonable drive from Fayetteville, NC.

welcome back to the scene, u sure have a nice collection there.

Thanks very much for the welcome. I do miss racing them so I'm trying to find someplace to race even if just off road.
Just tried my TC3 turned drifter out and I now see why people on the drifting forums all say you need a spool in the rear.

it all depends on setup wise. it's all different between normal 50/50 drifting and cs (countersteer) drifting. hope u get everything back on track in no time

welcome the the party...i would check the lhs or a rc mag to check and c if there is a track of some sort near to u...one thing about the tc3 is u dont have to buy a spool..u can just screw the diff together to lock it up that way
