OP - like several stated earlier, if you are unsure, charge at 1C or less, and always use the balancing block. If you are still nervous, set it at 1a and wait.

That's makes even more sense now.....

To the OP - it doesn't hurt anything to charge at low rates, it just takes more time to charge that way. The 1C charge rate is the max safe rate if that's what your lipo is rated for.
