Default car suddenly stop and never run

hi folks,
im new ere, and need your advice
i bought tt-01 almost a month and playing it 5x
while im playing the other day without hitting anything the car stop, i turnn off the power for a while, upon turning on the esc just blink and the servo move to the left, then the power fade. to make the story short its not responding now everytime im turning it on.
i connect the battery directly to the motor to check if its ok. and the motor respond.
in your opinion which is defective my servo or my esc?
if so can i fixed it without replacing?
whats the reason of this problem?
im using mabuchi rs 540 motor (sport tunned) and 25,55 gear ratio
thanks!

I'd check your connection it sounds like a loose battery connector.
Also if your battery has a 'Tamiya Plug on it (big white connector)' I'd advise replacing with deans or corraly tubes avalable at your LHS. You may as well replace the plugs on the motor as well because those connectors have high resistance and are costing you horsepower.

hi to all
i know now whats wrong with my car,
i tried to run it again and it works.
accidentally it hits the ramp and its stop again
now every time it hit something it stop.
so the problem is the power connector or battery,
i will try to replace with the dean connectors
i hope it will solve the prob.

Sounds like you have a bad receiver or ESC. If your losing power it can also maybe be a battery bar! Check also you wiring make sure there not damaged and connects too. Also your motor might need to be rebuilt!

Is the motor the same age as the car, or older?

If it's older it may need cleaning out, or replacing if it's in a very bad way.

I wouldnt want to say it is definately the motor, but it might be one of the brushes sticking

If not, then as said it may be a connector, esc or reciever issue.
