Default How do I change the Mode on my radio?

I purchased a used Parkzone F4U Corsair at a garage sale. It is stock and has the Spectrum DX5e radio. I have been practicing on a Hobbyzone Champ which has the rudder on the right stick, but the Corsair has the rudder on the left stick. Can I change it so the rudder is on the right stick and the ailerons on the left stick? I figured it wasnt as simple as switching the plugs on the receivers.

It's actually pretty easy. You can switch the servos in the receiver but you really want to learn to fly with the sticks in stock configuration. The rudder is supposed to be on the left. In reality, the Champs rudder is being controlled by the aileron channel. If a plane has ailerons, they will act as a rudder so flight is very similar to what it would be like with a rudder. Don't worry about using the rudder for now. Bind it and check all the throws to make sure they're going the right direction before flight. You''ll get used to flying with rubber in time.
