Default E-flite UMX Sbach 342 Unboxing, Review, and Maiden Flight

Below is the complete Unboxing, Review, and Maiden Flight video for my new E-flite UMX Sbach 342 3D BNF Basic RC Plane with AS3X Technology.

I talk about the pros and cons of this plane and even do a few tests during its maiden flight, which you can watch separately below as well.

Here is a summary of the pros and cons right here:

Pros:

- It is a beautifully colored UMX RC Plane
- Very responsive to inputs (almost to a fault)
- Nice large battery bay
- Excellent reinforcements are built-in
- I didn't pay for extra stuff I didn't want to pay for

Cons:

- It arrived with dents and dings on plane
- Difficult to see against a dark sky
- It was tough to find a good CG
- Limp wheel pant out of the box
- Packed in stinky foam

I peel those wheel pants off anything I get anymore. They never stay on the plane. This is one of the planes I wanted to get but there's others I'd rather have.

I'm considering the Dyman sbach 342 for my next plane, what would be your thoughts on that brand?

Isn't that plane discontinued? As for the brand, Dynam makes good stuff.

you can still get the dynam Sbach from motionrc. Have the plane but like with most Dynam planes you will want to put new magnetic so the canopy will not fly off.

My landing gear busted off a routine landing tonight. I am going to call HH tomorrow. That thing shouldn't have been drooping down like that.

This is the Second Flight video of me flying my new Sbach.

The flight footage was captured with both my Sony Handycam many of you have been accustomed to viewing my videos with as well as with my brand new GoPro Hero 4 Silver Edition.

Where's the knife edge into inverted? That plane screams arobatics. Flat spins are cool too.

I went to the Pegesus flying club yesterday and there were a handful of guys that were practicing flight patterns for competition with 1/2 scale Extra 300's and a biplane! These planes are huge, loud and lunky. Quite the site to see. When I mentioned the wind to one of the guy standing there, he said when you fly in competition it doesn't matter if there's a head wind tail wind or cross wind, you still have to fly and complete the flight pattern.
