also if you are using your own radio on most sims you can do your own mixes, just on the radio itself.

Clearview just added cars! The cars are a bit lacking in the graphics dept but hey, it's a start, and if you've got a rc type wheel controller (like me) it's ...well..., kinda fun. For 39 bucks with lifetime upgrades, it's not bad at all.

They usually connect with a special USB link that plugs into the back of your controller and has a USB connection on the other end to the PC. The sim you're using recognizes it - prob some setup required to get it working once connected.

RF comes with its own controller and thats all I've used.

I'm really new at this.
What's an RF, please?
Thanks.

its realflight,

you can get a usb connector for most controllers oyt there pretty cheap, I picked one up for my 7202 for 7 bucks shipped, it will also work with all of my JR transmitters, I have had pretty much every sim out there, and I pretty much only use aerofly, everything else is just not realistic enough or takes to long to load.

But for beginning anysim will be better than nothing. but if you are trying to learn blenders, waterfalls and roliing harriers the sim starts to matter.

what kind of transmitter do you have? is it the one that came with the cx3? if so you should be able to get a sim cable that hooks in through the stereo jack on your tx and has a usb on the other end. This works with alot of things.

I'd like to learn how to control the helicopter when its tail is NOT pointed at me.

When the heli is positioned so that the tail is pointing at me and the nose is pointing at the opposite direction, it's ok because it's like being in the cockpit.

When it isn't, I get completely confused.

Thanks!

it just takes time, a simulator will clear up alot of those problems without killing you wallet,

I have taught a couple people how to fly, and one thing I always have them do no matter what is to learn how to fly upside down, it seems hard at first, but in reaility its the same as flying rightside up, but up is up and down is down, everything else is the same. That way when they get in trouble they have a better chance of recovery.

also if you have some room do it up as high as you can, unsless your outside, then it is always three mistakes high
