Lightbulb Wat Watt Meter?

I am pretty much overwhelmed by choice on ebay. What would be a good choice and what should I stay clear from? fyi the most powerful motors I have are 3.5T, 4.5T Novaks, 6, 7, 8+ turn brushed motors etc etc.

Plus the extra headroom would be nice as my 10A multimeter rarely finds a use.

So are these any good or steer clear?

I'm in developing motor tool for measure RPM KV Watt volt amp of RC motor.

See this video, you may surprise with 10.5T brushless current & RPM while ESC boost active.

So no feedback on these units?

Pretty surprising considering how many views on the thread. Are they all bots? lol

Or everyone is interested but hasn't used them so can't provide the feedback you're looking for.

lol thats also a possibility.

Though really I would have thought most RCers would be using watt meters? I guess not :/

I think temperature guns are typically as far as most racers go, and blinky racers sometimes have motor analysers. I've not seen a watt meter like this at the track yet.

I'm not surprised. This is the first that I have heard of them and modern brushless ESC are not nearly as limited by motor size as they were during the brushed days. I've got a 120A ESC in my 1/10 2wd buggy when I could get by just fine with a 30A ESC.

Yup, thats the main reason why I'm getting this - for getting the most out of my brushed ESCs. Some have identical specs but some say a motor limit at 15 turns (and 7 cells) while others claim 13T limit with all other specs pretty much the same.

Plus it would be handy for battery discharging and other situations where my 10A multimeter can't be used.
