Default Thin wire & Charging.

Just bought a new battery and realized it needs 5mm bullets. I use an iCharger usually around 15-20 amps. Was thinking about soldering on some 5mm bullets on to my old 4mm charging cable, but the wire seems thin, 14awg I beleive.

Is it safe for me to use this thin wore for charging. I don't wanna burn the house down lol.

Thanks!

An easier way is to get a sleeve to put over the 4mm connectors that brings it up to 5mm. But yes, as long as that wire actually is 14awg it can handle 20A.

In any case, use a Lipo sack(flame proof) to reduce fire hazards.
