Default Reciever problem

Just got my new brushless system and just trying out if it works.. But I ran into a problem. When plugging in the ESC into channel 2 of the reciever throttle will not respond, but the wierd thing is input into channel 1 the throttle works with the steering wheel.. Did I do something wrong? Please help..

TX is 2.4 ghz traxxas tqi with tqi RX.

For clarification, the RX worked before and it's only the ESC that is new?

Did you go through the calibration sequence on the ESC?
I think it is (but I could be wrong, been a while since I used that ESC)

1. Press and hold setup button while powering on, release button
2. Leave Tx at neutral and press the setup button one, esc beeps
3. Pull full throttle, press button, esc beeps
4. Push Full Brakes/Reverse, press button, esc beeps
5. Power cycle ESC

Also for kicks and giggles I would rebind the Tx/RX before calibration.

For the hobbywing correct? Or will this work for the toro as well?

Yes that is for the hobbywing.

So neither the hobbywing or the toro are working on port 2 of the rx but your old brushes esc does? I do not know about the calibration esc for the toro since I have never owned one. Did it come with a manual? I would think they have it listed in there. I would attach the hobbywing, rebind your Tx/Rx and do the calibration for the esc and see where it gets you.
