Power Master Legend 40A USB Port?

I'm looking at getting this PS and was curious if the USB port puts out the correct amps to charge an iPad or if it is limited to only charging the iPhone/iPods?

I think the amp rate for iPhones is 1.5 and the iPad is 2.X

I dont know the exact out put but it was designed for Ipods/Iphones in mind. I do know that. I know several that charge theirs on it with no issues. Never seen an ipad plugged into one though.
