i plan on getting xerun,, but maybe i will just stay 5.5 w/o this upgrade. Would i still blow up something if i used minimal supercharging, etc?

With the supercharger features enabled, it is already stressing the ESC, Motor and the batteries with higher turn motors (10.5 and up). Even if you use minimal turbo settings on 5.5R, it will create unwanted heat to all the components.
Having said that, I have tried boost/turbo with 8.5R and its as fast as 5.5R's, but again the components are hot after a few minutes. So I rather run a normal 5.5R over a supercharged 8.5R.

Quick question please.
I use my car mainly for drifting, i'm currently swapping between 2 motors.
1/ XeRun 13.5T
2/ Speed Passion V3 10.5T
Because there is very little resistance in the drive train while drifting (as the wheels are effectively spinning all the time we're driving) what FDR would you recommend for these motors with th SC software at the advised settings for each motor?
What's your thoughts on gearing for drifting as well please?
Should i go with bigger pinion and gear for top speed to provide more resistance for the motor.
Or should i go for a smaller pinion and gear for acceleration?
If so how will this affect the motor/Esc having it what is essentially free spinning most the time?

Fantastic software mate!!!!! I have broken the track record by 6 seconds at our local track(in 13.5 Super Stock Touring Car) and set a time 12 seconds faster than anyone set at the nationals 3 months ago.
I have a question regarding software testing:
Have you done any testing with an exponential curve instead of a linear curve and removed the turbo function? I think it could be even better than 422.
For example(hypothetical): you could have a start rpm of 6000 and an end rpm of 25000 and you could have a max timing of 45 degrees (at 25000rpm). In that rpm range the timing would go up exponentially. There would be no need for any turbo whatsoever.
Just a thought. I believe it may be faster but also a lot simplier for the average racer to get set up right as you wouldn't have to worry about the turbo feature.

I can see a sensor cable socket, but on the sides you showed, there's no socket for the fan... Is it on the other side, maybe, or it doesn't need a fan?

We recommend using a cooling fan for stock racing. If the turbo timing function is activated, the ESC works hard and generates more heat, a cooling fan is very useful in such a case.
