Default KO Propo EX-10 Eurus or M11X??

Looking for opinions on this one as I have an itch to try a new radio system.
I currently have a DX3R and have had it sense their inception. While I love
the light weight of it, I find that I can drive a bit better with my buddies' K.O.'s and M11's. What stinks is, I'd hate to spend all the money to make the
move and not be happy so before I do, I'd like some more opinions.

Eurus or M11X?

The angle wheel of the KO makes the radio feel so much more comfortable. KO Eurus gets my vote.

Pass you soon...

I've noticed this too. While awkward at first, I find that the angled wheel fits my hands better with the natural way that I hold my radio while driving.

While I have given the 4PK serious thought also, I've heard of some wierd
reception issues with Futaba's radio signals so I've made the decision to steer away from those, for now.

Eurus or M11X?
Having used all three I don't know why one would be better than the other, but I am currently very pleased with the Eurus. I like the trigger adjustment and the way the wheel feels. It is a little smaller than the DX3R's and I find that it fits my hand better. As for features they are all pretty close. The Eurus is just more expensive because it is newer. But KO makes good stuff. I have had a couple people at my track switch after trying my radio. Couple of things to note. The menu's in the Eurus are not label that same as other radio's and take a little time to understand them. Not that this is a bad thing. It's just different. End point travel is labeled as "balance" for example.

If I had a DX3R I am not sure that I would switch. As that would mean changing all my receivers. And depending on how many cars, I have 6 that puts even more of a burden on the total initial cost.
Can you be more specific on why you are driving better with the KO or Airtonics? Does the person use digital servos? that are faster than what you are using? Have you tried using the DSM2 receivers to get a little more speed...etc.

Great question.

It seems that everybody that drives my cars/trucks says the same thing, "why is it so twitchy?" and "how do you drive this?". Mind you,
these are all different car/truck platforms, with different setups, tires,
servos, etc, and I get the same responce. I honestly think it is my
radio because over the past three years, it is the only thing that has
stayed the same in my pit.

I like the way the Eurus fits in my hands better than my DX3R too. I
always use to fight the angled wheel on my buds but during practice
the other day, I stopped and looked at my hand position without moving
them and my hands were all twisted around where they would fall into
place naturally with a KO radio with the angled wheel.

Plus, I like to try new things too and while I have acquired 4 DSM2 receivers
for my DX3R, I currently only have 2 vehicles so it won't totally kill me
to get rid of it right now.

Ok this sounds reasonable. I would try however to adjust the steering curves on your DX3R to soften the steering response. And I would also play with the end point adjustment and speed of the servo. Just to see if you can get the car more consistent. But if you are set to switch I think the Eurus is a great way to go. Since you say you like the multi angle wheel, you will need to purchase this separately as it does not include this with the radio.

Good luck.

you don't say what you would be using the radio for. but if you run any calss that requires a rx pack. the KO stuff support 2s directly. you don't have to regulate the voltage. the futaba stuff does not support 2s and I am not sure about airtronics
